Chris Brady from Aquarian spent the day in the studio with Aquarian drumset artist Mike Bennett and the inHEAD.
As told by Chris..."This little clip shows the acoustic sound of the inHEAD blended with the Roland TD20X module. The inHEAD is on the snare and the floor tom. Mike cooked up a unique percussion patch on the TD20X that the inHEAD is triggering to sit underneath the acoustic sound of the snare and floor tom. We had a great time pulling in Addictive Drums sounds as well which we then blended with the acoustic sound and the Roland sounds."

By combining the natural sound of your acoustic drums with digitally enhanced  percussion sounds, you can come up with new grooves and textures that are rich, full and fun!

Do you really know how fast 120 bpm is?  Check your accuracy of your internal clock with "Tap Tempo" feature.

So what IS the appropriate tempo when the music calls for "ALLEGRETTO"?  This app will tell you the correct musical term for the tempo that you are choosing. ( I sure could have used that in my college music classes.)

Up and coming Orange County drummer, Parker Jackson, is the winner of Percussion Partners drawing for the 2010 Zildjian "Rarities" limited edition Earth Ride. Pictured here with his "prize", Parker learned about Percussion Partners at Jim's Music in Tustin,CA.

A talented young drummer, Parker can be heard playing with his progressive metal/hardcore band, AUTHOR & FINISHER at local venues like the Glass House and Chain Reaction. The band just finished working on their latest recording project in December and Parker is looking forward to summer touring.
